How long does a residential roof replacement take?

Most 2,000–3,000 square-foot homes are complete in two working days — tear-off day one, install day two. Complex roofs, steep pitches, or heavy-material installs (tile, slate) can take three to five days. Weather delays extend timelines but we never leave a roof unprotected overnight.

Do you handle the permit?

Yes. We pull the permit, coordinate the inspection, and file the closeout paperwork. Permit fees are itemized in your contract — we don't mark them up.

Can I stay in my house during the install?

Yes. It's loud and there will be debris on the ground, so plan for pets to be inside and cars moved from the driveway. Most families run errands during the noisiest hours of day one.

What happens if we find rotted decking during tear-off?

We stop, photograph it, and call you before replacing anything. Rotted decking replacement is priced per sheet in your contract — usually $75–100 per 4×8 sheet installed. There are no surprises after the fact.

How do I know if I have hail damage?

You often can't see it from the ground. Signs on the ground include dings on your gutters, HVAC condenser fins, or car hoods. If neighbors are filing claims, get an inspection — hail damage on shingles becomes obvious to an insurer if we catch it within the claim window.

Do you offer roof-overs (installing over an existing roof)?

No, and we recommend you avoid any company that does. Roofing over hides deck problems, voids most manufacturer warranties, and creates a heat trap that shortens the new roof's life. It saves money now and costs money later.

What manufacturers do you install?

GAF (most common), Owens Corning, CertainTeed, and TAMKO for shingles. Standing-seam metal from Sheffield, McElroy, and Drexel. Tile from Boral and Eagle. Underlayment from GAF, Grace, and Titanium.

How do I file a warranty claim years from now?

Call the main line or email us. Your project number is on your original contract but we can look it up by address if you've lost it. We keep records going back to day one.

Do you offer discounts for veterans, seniors, or first responders?

Yes. $500 off any full replacement for active-duty military, veterans, retired law enforcement, firefighters, and homeowners over 65. Stack with financing promotions.

Is your work guaranteed?

50-year workmanship warranty on every full replacement, transferable once. Repairs carry a 2-year workmanship guarantee. Manufacturer warranties (typically 30–50 years on materials) stack on top.
